The General's Armory continues to grow. We added three new files this afternoon: a Sudan Intervention Affirmative, HIV/AIDS Negative, and Condoms Negative. Look for more negative files at the end of the week.

Lastly, it has been rumored that Kyle Zarazan will be working on Dependency Disadvantage and that Paul Mabrey will be working on a Biopolitics critique of public health. Look for these files in the not too distant future.

Launch Day

Things are going very well with The General's Armory. The website, www.generalsarmory.com, will officially launch, barring any unusual incidents, no later than Friday morning. We will have info about Sub-Saharan Africa, Research links, and several files for sale among other info etc. Please visit and bookmark the site on Friday.

It's been a while ...

since my last post. I have completed an AIDS affirmative that has three advantages: African death with scenarios that include body count per year, a morality claim, and an infectious diseases), African Conflict (AIDS --> African Instability --> Nuclear War), and Eurasian Spread (Africa = epicenter now, AIDS will spread to Eurasia if not stopped). The solvency mechanism is massive endorsement, funding, distribution of and for condoms, a mechanism that is currently blocked by the Bush Administration. The file is approximately 150 pages, including the 1AC, and with multiple cards per page when possible (often). I will see if I can put an Index up on this blog.

Additionally, one of the research mercenaries for the General's Armory has just completed a beastly reproductive rights affirmative that lifts the global gag rule. The advantages are Over population with an Agriculture and Global Warming scenario, Women's rights, and AIDS (this can be hooked up with the AIDS affirmative).

I am also in the process of finishing up two disadvantages and a counter plan, which I'm keeping secret until they appear on the website. I believe I can finish these three by the end of the weekend or early next week. I'll keep you posted.

Web development is going fine, but slow. I should be online and ready to offer these files before NFL nationals. Let me know if you have questions or ideas.

P.S. That profile picture is a preview of a very limited number of bumper stickers that will be passed out at NFL nationals and various high school institutes this summer.

Re-alignment

Bigger and better things are in store for The General's Armory. I just purchased a domain name and will be starting a full website within the month. Keep your eyes peeled.

Also, I'm still on track to complete my first file of the 2007-2008 season by next week.

Lastly, I'm constantly learning about blog/website management and, consequently, continually making changes. So, if you like what you see so far, book mark this page and visit often.
